Wirrealpa

Location
Located at the eastern edge of the Flinders Ranges, 35 kilometres from Blinman, on the Blinman to Arkaroola road (500 kilometres from Adelaide).

Accommodation
Authentic, stone, 1850’s Shearer’s Quarters, comprising nine separate bedrooms accommodating 22 people. Overseers Cottage, built in the 1950’s, boasts 1950’s décor and sleeps up to seven guests. ‘Mum and Dad’s’ which offers a more up-market experience with modern facilities and comfortably sleeps six. Catering is available on request.

Experience
Experience the intimacy of the hills combined with the vastness of the plains, while watching a kaleidoscope of colour as the light changes during the day. Established in 1856, Wirrealpa Station is a 1500 square kilometre, sheep and cattle property combining a tourism enterprise, which is run by fourth generation pastoralists. Have your first evening meal prepared for you so that all you have to do is unpack and enjoy the sunset. Let the Wirrealpa team take you out to Lizard Rock for drinks or billy tea at sunset or give you a map of 4WD tours around the property. The proximity of the property to hills and plains results in a huge diversity of flora and fauna.
