2015 proudly marks the 40th year of the Fassina SA family owned company. Beginning in 1975 with larger than life patriarch and Italian immigrant Joe Fassina and a bottling hall on the Somerton Park site, the business now owns and operates 8 Liquor Stores around South Australia.
Three generations are now involved in the family business, with Joe’s children and grandchildren running day-to-day operations. With only a few truly independent liquor stores left in SA, Fassina Liquor continues to buck the trend with a heavy focus on customer service and supporting small local SA wineries & producers.

To celebrate their 40th year, the company has dug into the depths of their back-vintage vaults (the largest in SA) and is launching a competition for customers to WIN a 1997 Grange Magnum (1.5lt) valued at $1500. The lucky winner will be announced at the end of year Fassina Wine Club Sparkling Gala Event on Wednesday 18th November held at the Somerton Park Tasting Room.
