A design student who created a pair of spectacles which double as a stylish headband has won the People’s Choice Award in InDaily‘s eyewear design competition.
“Flower Headband Glasses”, by University of South Australia jewellery student Ya Feng, secured the highest number of votes.
The glasses beat a field of 11 other entries featured on InDaily over the past week.
Feng now has the chance to have her frames manufactured for Health Partners Optical stores around the state.
Fellow UniSA student Jaime Sanchez was runner-up with his “Front-on” frames.
Third place was a dead heat between “Existence” by Phillip Henschke and the expert Judges’ Choice, “Blend”, by Patrick Shepheard.
Today’s other winner was InDaily reader Helene Piaget, who has scored a $400 Health Partners Optical store voucher after a random draw of the voters.
The competition is a collaboration with UniSA and Health Partners Optical.
