New ALDI recruitment round in SA

Aug 31, 2015

Supermarket chain ALDI has opened its next round of recruitment for positions in its South Australian stores.

From today, ALDI is accepting applications for more than 100 new positions in SA for retail assistants and store management trainees.

The supermarket says there will be a second round for these positions in February 2016, before the first ALDI stores open in South Australia next year.

Competition is likely to be fierce, with ALDI having already received more than 12,000 expressions of interest for these roles.

ALDI has already recruited 30 store managers and assistant managers, who started work earlier this month.

The new recruitment round ends on 27 September. All applications are being accepted via ALDICareers.com.au

ALDI is planning to open up to 50 supermarkets in SA.

Its confirmed “areas of interest” include include West Lakes, Hawthorn, Mount Barker, Hallett Cove, Seaford Heights, Woodcroft, Victor Harbor, Parafield Gardens, Blakeview, St Agnes, Kilburn, Gilles Plains, Berri, Aldinga, Noarlunga, Modbury, Evanston, the Barossa, Golden Grove, Salisbury, Mt Gambier, Marion and Yorke Peninsula.
